Deuter Agonist, Deuter, or, as he's more well known as, Avraxas, is a prominent figure in the Markyjoe universe, establishing one of the few set points in the history of the canon; Heirs of Rage. He is also the deuteragonist of Tale of Purt.

Information

Before the start of Tale of Purt, he worked with his brother Purt Agonist on bread deliveries, alongside the halberdier Syde Karaktur and the spell caster Originul D. Karaktur. Despite him being a far better bread deliverer than his brother, he isn't acknowledged as such. His class is Hermit, indicating that, when not helping his brother with his business, he's mostly to himself and his own devices.

Ragefest IV

In the Tale of Purt, Av, referred to by his real name Deuter, travels with his brother on a bread run with Syde and Originul, making their tumultuous way towards their customer, who turns out to be MarkyJoe. However, when on the topic of payment, Marc sheepishly renigs on the deal for selfish greedy reasons, bringing the group to try and take their rightfully earned money by force.

At some point after Tale of Purt, Avraxas and Marc became good friends, to the point where, after the world is left in ruin after the Fourth Rage War, the two build the Aurora Machina together in order to have an easy way to fix it. The machine was also used to create the Heirs; artificial offspring of the hackers involved in restoring the world to its previous luster. Av used it to create Dusk, his son, while his brother used it to create Dawn, his daughter.

Av hosted the Aurora Machina in the Hermitage, a fort he, presumably, built to keep the machine safe. Due to his hermit-like status, the Hermitage was located in a dense forest area, making it easy for those looking for the fort and, therefore, the Aurora, to get lost and confused on their way there.

At his birthday, no-one actually came and he was left to sit silently at a table, eating a Happy Meal with his "Happy Birthmas" banner hanging over him. However, fate would conspire against Avraxas again this day, as that Happy Meal wasn't so happy at all; he choked on the burger and died. However, he uploaded his consciousness into the Aurora Machina shortly before he died, allowing him to, in a sense, stay alive after death.

Heirs of Rage

Despite not appearing in Heirs of Rage as himself, the Aurora Machina's artificial intelligence takes on his appearance and personality and appears in the final chapters.

Tale of Purt II

In the second Tale of Purt, Purt and Originul come back after an adventure with the Tardis tome, and hatch a plan with Dusk and Dawn to retrieve Av before he died. However, due to circumstances out of their control, they end up setting off the chain of events that occur in Tale of Purt II.

Avraxas appears as an alternate universe version of himself, a Tall in service of the King due to her having his waifu in her hands.

At the end of the game, Purt and co. successfully manage to rescue Av from his happy meal, though having to maintain the timeline so nothing too drastic changes besides Av's fate.
