Money Man's Last Stand is Pwntagonist's submission in Ragefest Four. It is a hack of Blazing Sword.

Loophole abuse

This map begins with Alan trapped in a cell. You can't do anything in the cell unless Alan stands on the tile on the bottom row of his cell, three columns from the left. No, there isn't any hint to this. Standing there gets you an Iron Lance. Use it to break the wall in the corner, allowing you to recruit Legault. Sell all your items at the Armory (Yes there's one there, don't ask) and buy a Javelin for Alan and three Door Keys. Use the Javelin to kill the Pirate, then unlock the door. The Pirate drops a Chest Key, which is necessary to open all the Chests. The one nearest to the door contains an Iron Rune, important for avoiding the extremely high Crit rate of the enemy's Killer Axes.

Your objective is to rescue Alan's horse by turn 27, then kill the Money Man. The horse is located directly in front of the Money Man (in the form of a Knight Crest) but standing there to get it would get that character killed, so what you must do is unlock Florina's cell, recruit her with Alan, then have her start a turn just barely outside the Money Man's attack range, move in front of him to get the Knight Crest, then move away with Canto. This solves the time limit problem, but it unfortunately makes the Money Man start moving. You now need to move around the map, unlocking doors and chests and picking off enemies when you can, with the goal of unlocking the chest in the bottom-right corner. It contains a Killer Axe, and if you recruit Harken and have him use it, he should be able to handle the Money Man no problem, with some assistance of course. Use Florina's flight and Dart's water-crossing abilities well, especially to lure the Money Man away - he can't walk on water.
