The objective is to have Marc seize the two thrones. Marc can use Lockpicks to open the chests in the level, but don't bother with any chest that doesn't have a shadow, it's literally just paint. In fact, Marc should make a beeline for the first chest, as it contains the money needed to pay to recruit Marty (no relation to the FE5 character. The pair of Paladins are a play on Mario and Luigi.) Marty can then recruit Louie, and this is important because they can both use the best weapons and get a huge support bonus when near each other. Marc can also recruit the bandit locked in a cell, but this is not really worth the time considering you need to push to recruit Marty, otherwise the moving enemies will overwhelm you. There are also several timed events. Reinforcements arrive from the castle entrance on turns 6, 8, 10, and 14. A clone of Ash appears on turns 9, 10, 16, 17, 18, 21, and three of them on turn 20, all with Bolting tomes that originally inflicted poison when Marc played this chapter, but the public version nerfs them. Finally, on turn 35, a final group of impossibly strong enemies appears from the castle entrance. You must win before they catch up to you.

You're given a choice between Reisen and Sophia from the start. They're both the same in literally every way, though. Keep in mind Marc himself can use the Heal staff you're given, just in case. The first hurdle in this map is the toughest part. The Warrior can one-round either character, and even if you kill him, he's got Wyverns behind him and more are coming after you. The best way to deal with the Warrior is to have Marc outright one-round him with Thunder, then have your Druid swap it for Fire so he doesn't one-round the incoming Wyverns. Use Elixirs to stay alive and start pushing forwards towards the chest with the money. You'll have to lure Marty towards you to get him to talk safely. They have a movement event on turn 12, but it shouldn't mess with your strategy too much. With the Super Paladin Bros. recruited, start fighting off the reinforcements and pushing towards the first throne. Be careful not to get in Ash's range, his Bolting attacks hurt. Fortunately, he's a sitting duck once you get in close. Same goes for any of his clones.

With the first throne seized, you're faced with several enemies with powerful weapons. Block one of the two chokepoints with Louie, equipped with a Spear. It is especially advantageous if you can get the Sniper to block the chokepoint. Try luring him into position with your Druid. Marc should stick to the throne, it'll give him a huge advantage. Enemies typically break away from the chokepoint to try and pick him off, which will lead to their doom. If you've moved quickly, you can advance at a brisk pace once the initial waves are dealt with. The northern chest has an Elfire, and there's an Angelic Robe in the remaining chest. For the throne room, the Druid on the right can be baited out past the wall. At some point you'll get a Hammer that might be of use to a Paladin if their rank managed to increase. There's not really any time to make the enemy waste their siege tomes, so take them out quickly while using Physic to keep your HP up.

Ciraxis is not that hard if you know what trap is waiting for you. All the tiles you can hit him from are rigged with a trap more gruesome than a fire trap: DOUBLE FIRE TRAPS. Even though Marc has Lockpicking abilities, he can only disarm one trap at a time, and there are two per tile. It's best to nail Ciraxis as quickly as possible. His RES isn't nearly high enough for him to withstand a few Elfires. Attack with Marc, use Physic, kill Ciraxis, and seize the throne to win.
