Taking inspiration and its name from Koei-Tecmo's ''Dynasty Warriors'' (and more specifically, ''Hyrule Warriors'') Emblem Warriors implements a unique base capture mechanic: There are several "keeps" in the chapter that can be taken control of by killing the boss unit guarding it. Every four turns, starting from the eighth, any Keep in the enemy's possession will spawn four enemy units. It's worth noting that this submission was created before the announcement of an official ''Warriors'' game featuring Fire Emblem characters.
