Colm's Big Heist is Ephraim225's submission in Ragefest Five. It is a hack of Sacred Stones.

Ephraim225's first submission to be based on Sacred Stones introduces the Capture mechanic from Thracia 776 to a GBA Fire Emblem (courtesy of an ASM hack by Tequila) using it as the core mechanic for the game's objective: The player must capture enemies, take their equipment, and amass a vast sum of money to pay off Natasha's debts to Gheb. That plus the usual level design leads to yet another unique submission. There was one hurdle to the submission's entry, however: The second chapter was eventually concluded to be unwinnable without excessive luck, however Ephraim225 was allowed to tweak the chapter and re-submit. The community was largely in favor of allowing him to do so.
Synopsis
This hack takes place some time after the events of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. An earthquake hit Grado, where Natasha's church was held, and leveled it to the ground. To get the money to repair it, she seeks out help in Renais. She ends up finding Colm, as well as a few other former comrades. He suggests mugging shamans for their tomes to make some quick cash. Natasha is reluctant, but she is coaxed into helping. After she gathers enough money for the tax collector, (who just so happens to be His Lord Schmexyness himself) he doubles the price due to supposed interest. The group heads to the Tower of Valni in an attempt to steal from the local monsters and sell the weapons to Anna. They gather the money, but Gheb again raises the price. Remembering how awful of a state Grado is in, Colm begins to question Gheb and reveals he's been scamming them. The two groups get into a fight, with the fat man being slain. Natasha returns to Grado with the profits in hopes of restoring her chapel.

Cast
* Colm (Protagonist)
* Natasha (Ally)
* Neimi (Ally)
* Ross (Ally)
* Garcia (Ally)
* Franz (Ally)
* Lute (Ally)
* Artur (Ally)
* Gheb (Main Antagonist)
* Anna (Neutral)

Walkthrough
Chapter 1
Dark tomes are worth a lot of money, and there are several Shamans at the beginning of this map. Lure them out with Ross and Neimi, as their ranged weapons usually leave the Shamans with 4 or less HP, making them ripe for a capture. Make your way to the Vendor in the lower-left. The red house near here is the only one to not spring a trap of some kind: Visiting it recruits Ewan. While you're here, Shine makes a great weapon for Artur later on if you can spare the money and raise Artur's weapon rank to use it. Reinforcements spawn every 3 turns, and the Archers are notable for having Red Gems - worth one tenth of your 25,000 gold goal. Stay near the Vendor, however, as it's where Franz and Garcia spawn; they are recruitable by Colm and Ross, respectively. If you can make your way to the Armory, not only are cheap Killer weapons for sale, healers with expensive staves spawn near here. Though expensive items are also in the northwest vault, breaking in causes a boat Ballista to spawn. Be prepared to deal with it if you venture up there. Once you have 25,000 gold, head back to the Inn and stand on its entrance to move onto the next map.

Chapter 2
Your new goal is 50,000 gold. The items in the chests almost always fulfill that goal after they've been sold to a Secret Shop, and there are two located on the stairs in this map. To get a Member Card, either kill the boss, or steal it from the Thief that spawns on turn 15. The toughest part of this chapter is dealing with respawning reinforcements while inching forward. Two Wights appear from the north, and six Maelduins approach you from behind, every six turns. To deal with the Maelduins, capture a skeleton to get a Zanbato, give it to Garcia, and lure them all into suiciding on him while he's standing on a pillar. Artur can wipe out a group of eyeballs in seconds, and he can handle the promoted eyeballs safely for the most part. He does extra damage to every enemy in this chapter, being a Bishop. He also resists the boss's weapon, a Runesword. Remember that the Member Card itself is also worth an extra 3,000 gold, but sell it ONLY if this will push your funds over 50,000.

Chapter 3
Funds don't matter anymore, so you can purchase as many items out of the preparation screen shop as you need. The only objective here is to kill Gheb, and the only true hurdle to that are the Heroes guarding him. As long as two units can resist their attacks, you're mostly safe, so rush to Gheb and kill him. Careful, though - he moves from his throne to attack.
Ragefest Chronicles is Moliblazer's submission in Ragefest V: The Enragement Ring. It is a hack of Blazing Sword.

This submission contains two chapters. The first is a defense map, a rare occurrence in Ragefest, and the second is a chapter with a tight time limit.

Walkthrough
As a defense chapter, there is not much to this map as it is very easy to trivialize, although don't let your guard down, enemies frequently use slayer-type weapons. The General that joins you must die in order to open the door and allow the player to hole up in the castle, so after you get a decent amount of use out of him, send him against the boss, he'll never live through it. Preferably, you'll want to do this first thing during any Player Phase so that your units can move instantly after the cutscene. Now, the throne isn't what you need to defend here, it's the Nomad Trooper. Once you're in control of her, hole everyone up in the top-left corner of the map, using the Monk and Knight as shields. 25 turns later, you enter map 2.

To clear the second map, the boss needs to be killed in 5 turns. However, you need your newest mage to kill her, and there are a pair of Magic Seals. So, as quickly as you can, send any two units to each Seal to kill them. Get the mage into position to start fighting the boss, who has a siege tome and a Sniper protecting her, and the Sniper must not be killed. Draw her away with a disarmed unit, since the AI always targets those first. Once the boss is dead, the chapter ends. Even if you mess up one or two times, the chapter only lasts five turns maximum, so resetting doesn't cost a lot of time.
}}Asylum of Irony is SageMatthis's submission in Ragefest Five. It is a hack of Blazing Sword.

This submission has been disqualified for being one of the most cryptic, tedious, glitchy submissions ever devised. Oh, and it also exploited a rules loophole to add a fourth map. However it still warrants a walkthrough so you get a feel for how hilariously bad it all is, and it is BAD. While it makes use of the engine in a few unique ways, the puzzles are too cryptic and require lots of trial-and-error to work through them, especially when things don't work out the way the creator wants them to. Markyjoe1990 actually had to look at the source code for the chapters for crying out loud. By all means, however, play it with a guide. You'll get a good laugh or two.
Synopsis
Cast
Walkthrough
Chapter 1
Start by waiting on the chest. We won't say why, just do it. Then talk to the cracked wall to open the door. Here's how the chapter works: The player must complete a chain of trades, but on turn ten, guards swarm the area. If the player does not talk to the Knight to close the door while they're out, the player will be killed instantly. Talking to the Knight to close the door resets the turn count, and this must be done at the first opportunity to have enough time to trade the first item. So, first talk to the Thief to open up a path for later. Then, talk to the characters in the following order, heading back to the Knight as necessary: the Shaman, the Pirate, the Brigand, the Myrmidon, and finally, the Archer. Finally, wait in the bottom-right corner of the hallway to get to the room with the door. Unlock it and go.

Chapter 2
The first thing to do is get the Knight and Myrmidon into positions where they won't die on the following turn. Move the Knight to the right of the chests. Move the Myrmidon all the way south, use the Boots to get a second move, and move one tile right. Now you need to find invisible items. Move the Knight one tile right, three tiles down. If he doesn't get the key, move the Myrmidon there instead. Now unlock the door. The Knights here can't hurt you unless they have a weapon triangle advantage, so don't worry about them. The row of thrones to the right has some weapons for you; the Lighter Brand is on the second throne from the right, and three tiles to the right of that is a Steel Lance. The Knight and Myrmidon can Support each other, and the bonus pushes the Myrmidon's damage high enough to kill four Knights that drop Longswords in a single hit. You need all of them to kill all the Cavaliers later, and the Lighter Brand only has four hits on it.

The Cavaliers are painful to deal with. The ones that don't have Heavy Spears can be lured in with the Knight, where the Longsword (again, with the support bonus) takes them down in one hit. Clear a path to the pillar on the left. If your Knight moves onto the tile two spaces right of the left-most pillar, a Thief joins you, and he has a Lockpick along with a weapon that grants +81 Speed to its wielder, BUT it has the Devil Reversal effect. Still, since it guarantees dodges, it's good for pulling in ranged attackers and allows the Knight to steal from anyone - oh, did we mention it's the KNIGHT that steals, and NOT the Thief?! Oh, and if you're wondering how to heal any injuries, the only way to do that is to move ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE THRONES AND WAIT SEVERAL TURNS TO HEAL.

So. With the Cavaliers out of the picture, you need to kill the Wyverns. Unlock the door to spawn a Fighter who will join you if you pay him 309 gold. To get gold, sell something to the invisible shop on the third pillar from the right in the bottom row. As for how to get that money, well, if you have a spare Longsword, sell that and the Steel Lance. If you used up all the Longswords (entirely possible if you're not killing them all in one hit due to stat variance) then you can sequence break the chapter. See, normally you're supposed to kill the Wyverns with the Fighter's Dragon Axe, but equipping the Knight with the sword (yeah yeah I know, I don't know why it works either) that gives +81 Speed lets him kill a Wyvern in four to five hits. Then you can have anyone wait on the second pillar from the right in the top row, which triggers an event that offers a choice between an Energy Ring, a Dragonshield, or a Speedwing.

Regular enemies spawn after recruiting the Fighter. As you approach the boss, a girl appears holding several items the Knight can steal, including a Member Card, an Elixir, and a Goddess Icon (which you could also sell.) The Fortify can't be stolen, we don't know why it's there. The boss is entirely unkillable unless you steal his Mine (don't worry, he doesn't initiate combat himself) and then take it ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE KNIGHTS AT THE START OF THE MAP and trigger the Mine Glitch (reset during the animation of them running over the Mine) to gain control of the boss and move him out of the way. Then you can unlock the door, Seize the staircase, and proceed on your merry adventure through this madness.

Chapter 3
This...this is actually a pretty normal chapter. Kill enemies, get chests, wait on the right-most column of forts to proceed. The poison traps are pretty obvious to spot. What's not obvious is that there are several tiles where characters join you if you wait on them. And they're not marked in ANY way. One of them is in front of a poison trap! Here's the coordinates, unless the map gets uploaded at some point:

* 8, 6 - An Archer joins you
* 5, 20 - A Nomad joins you
* 6, 33 - A Shaman joins you
* 28, 5 - A Pegasus Knight joins you
* 29, 19 - A Pirate joins you
* 21, 24 - A Wyvern Knight joins you

So when you make it to the forts...

Chapter 4
...Yeah. Now all you have to do is kill the boss. First get rid of the regular enemies. Then kill the Snipers above the boss (if you run out of items, the only way to heal is with the forts). Then attack the boss once with anyone but Marc. This triggers an event where Marc promotes but goes insane. Reisen appears and will head towards Marc, so your party must protect her until she gets there. Once she does, killing the boss is trivial. Submission over.

}}The Roots That Bind is Alusq's submission in Ragefest Five. It is a hack of Blazing Sword.

This is a very basic submission aside from one unique gimmick, and it's also the only submission so far to show Markyjoe1990 as he appears in real life. FE7's internal sound font was also altered for extra flavor, as well as using the name entry to name an item, rather than a character.
Synopsis
Cast
Walkthrough
The gimmick of this chapter is that on odd-numbered turns, the game shifts from day to night. At night, Lyn units spawn, and at dawn, they vanish. The Lyns that spawn wield Moonblades, which ignore defense, however they are generally very weak regardless. From turn 11 onwards, Draculyn spawns with them. She uses a 2-3 ranged Bow that sucks HP, but it's still not that strong. Kill her to get a Moonblade of your own, you'll need it to stand a chance against the boss.

From the start there are two important points of interest: The village to the south contains a healer, as well as an NPC General Marc can recruit. He's a good kitty, so get to him quickly. Meanwhile, the western House holds a special 1-3 range sword for Marc, which is important, because Marc can't fight very well with just his Steel Blade, even if it does give plenty of weapon EXP. Recruit the General and start fighting off the initial enemies, including the Lyns. From there, it's a pretty basic chapter, aside from the boss. At some point, Florina and Wil should have joined you. Get Wil into the southern house to obtain the Titan Spear, a very powerful weapon for Wil. The northern village contains an item that takes whatever name you input at the start; it gives +2 to every stat. Only Marc can make it to the chest, and he needs the healer's Chest Key to get it. It contains the Boots, which aren't too great, so they and the Blue Gem can be sold to pay for whatever you want from the Vendor.

Unless you use the Warp staff, only Marc can access the boss, but before you attack him, take out his healers using Marc's 1-3 range sword or the Steel Longbow. Once they're gone, the boss is easy to take out the normal way with the Moonblade. Be sure to heal the attacker afterwards, or Rescue them, since the boss never heals. Once he's gone, seize the house with Marc.
}}A New Revelation is TheRealGanon and Volke0's submission in Ragefest Five. It is a hack of Blazing Sword.

This submission has been disqualified for luck-based gameplay and a host of other terrible ideas, which our walkthrough will now attempt to document.

Walkthrough
The Battas are unkillable, so avoid their range. You start with Marc and Raisin. Raisin cannot survive many attacks from the Pegasus Knights, so have Marc rescue her. Marc can take out all the Pegasus Knights if he uses a Vulnerary every turn. When you have an opening, send Marc to the structure to the east and camp there. Block the chokepoint with Raisin: She can't heal Marc, but Marc can heal her, so this will conserve vulnerary uses. Keep fending off enemies until turn 32 when they stop (Take note that the Swordmasters always spawn next to Marc) and on turn 16, Keal will appear in the eastern structure. Recruit her with Marc. At some point, Druids will appear from the stairs behind you, but you can block them from spawning easily. Do NOT talk to Raisin with Keal. Though this gives you a Guiding Ring, and therefore an option to promote Raisin and allow her to heal Marc, it will also spawn Archers with long-ranged weapons and a Bard. Once you've fended off the enemies, it's time to kill Denning. Keal is your best bet for this, especially if you lure Denning into using the Longbow and attack from the forest.

Denning drops the Nihil Tome, which is Marc's best chance at killing Corrin in the east part of the map, though some luck is required. HOWEVER, do NOT kill Corrin until you've gotten the Guiding Ring and killed the Archers and Bard that spawn as a result: When Corrin is killed, Serra spawns next to the nearby Batta, which disappears when you perform the Guiding Ring event from earlier. You can also get the jump on the Archers, since this event is triggered at the player's discretion. The Nihil Tome is great here because it negates criticals when held. (NOT when equipped - if it starts to wear down in use, don't let it break, or its crit negation is lost entirely.) Killing Corrin makes a bunch of Paladins appear. Camp out in the forest in the corner until they're all dealt with. Watch for the status staves: If you're hit, either use Restore or try to get the afflicted unit hit by a Poison attack, since this overrides other status effects.

Robin is up next on your hit list. Be aware that he has a siege tome as you approach. Bait out the tome's ten uses, as well as the nearby Purge enemies, then approach. There isn't much that's special about Robin. Kill him and Seize the tile he was on with Marc. Some reinforcements appear, and these can be blocked by placing characters where they would have appeared. Keep fighting past all the enemies up to Kris. The Assassins are dangerous because they can still get OHKs if they're lucky. Hold the Nihil Tome to negate this. Kris himself has 1-3 range, so attacking with Marc's Tome, healing Marc, then rescuing the healer away is the best strategy. Again, seize the forest tile he was standing on.

Now you just need to kill Mark. Karel has appeared, DON'T talk to him, he'll turn into an enemy. He'll try to talk to you on his turn, however, so you'll have to rescue and hold onto him. Drop him near an enemy when Marc is far away enough, and he'll kill that enemy for you. In fact, do this for every enemy you can. Reisen will probably nail him, but you have strong enough units to kill her. Corrin has probably been killed by Karel: Seize the tile he was standing on. Guess what: More enemies! And you get to kill Robin and Lucina again. The usual tactics will suffice. Seize the tile Robin was standing on to spawn even more enemies along with Kris. After fighting past all the enemies and killing Kris AGAIN, seize the tile he was on to give Keal a powerful lance. Use it to kill Mark. You'd think this would be over, but no, there's still one more enemy to fight. Luckily, killing him is trivial with your brand-new Paladin. Kill the soldier and end this misery.
}}Julius's Revenge is Darrman's submission in Ragefest Five. It is a hack of Sacred Stones.

Like the name suggests, this chapter is set during the tail end of Genealogy of the Holy War, with Julius, the game's villain, taking his Dark Warlords on one final run against Celice and the rest of the game's cast. The player is in control of Julius and must kill Celice, though spilling the rest of the holy blood doesn't hurt either. This chapter implements a number of nice changes to the engine, such as a skill system.

Walkthrough
This chapter is oddly underwhelming for a Ragefest Five submission. There isn't a single trap anywhere, and most units beyond the initial wave won't attack until you're in range, and that includes Celice himself. Fortunately, you've been given Silence, Sleep, and more importantly, Berserk. Hand all this over to Julius since he has the biggest staff range, and then rush him all the way over to Lakche as quickly as possible and Berserk her. Silence Sety and Julia along the way or they'll wreck him. When Lakche is Berserked, she usually slaughters Rana and Celice shortly afterwards, being a huge favorite with her Astra skill. No matter how Celice dies, the chapter ends when he does, making the whole chapter rather lackLester.
}}Human Armory is Pwntagonist's submission in Ragefest Five. It is a hack of Sacred Stones.

Human Armory features a unique gameplay mechanic similar to a gimmick introduced in Tower Defense, but executed much better. The player can spawn NPC units and warp them anywhere on the map, and must do so to allow Eirika to advance and take down Riev, who is apparently not dead (probably because Ephraim Warp-skipped that chapter) and is trying to raise an undead army after the events of Sacred Stones.

Walkthrough
The goal is to seize the throne. The way this map works is that visiting any house will spawn an NPC with the stats of the red unit next to the house - the top row will summon NPCs that stand still and attack only what's in range, and the bottom row will summon NPCs that attack aggressively. After summoning one, Moulder can warp them anywhere on the map, and Dancers are nearby to help make it faster. Innes can be recruited by Eirika, which will unlock a door allowing you to choose from more classes of NPCs. The second door is opened by talking to Rennac with Eirika to recruit him as well. The third door will be opened when Glen is killed, and behind that door are the strongest NPCs you can summon. In addition, Innes or Eirika can recruit Tana.

You'll need to make good use of your ability to Warp the NPCs anywhere you please. You can block off chokepoints, seal enemies in corridors, block enemies from attacking Eirika, and even block reinforcements that enter through the stairs. Rush Eirika to Innes as soon as possible to recruit him, and Tana as well. Then get her into the room to the west, the one with the chest. Rennac will be headed there to swipe the chest; recruit him at this time and take the chest, which contains an Elysian Whip for Tana. Promote her to a Wyvern Knight - she doesn't need swords as a Falcoknight. Note that recruiting Rennac will prompt Riev to teleport Eirika to a completely different part of the map on the next turn, and no, rescuing Eirika will not prevent this. Glen should spawn not long after, so have Innes get rid of him while distracting other enemies with NPC cannon fodder. Rangers eventually spawn in the corners of the map, but these are fine as long as they have a nearby NPC to target.

This leaves Riev himself. With Glen dead, you can now spawn Sages and Heroes, which have the best chance against him. Summon Heroes to surround him, with Sages behind them, then just make sure Eirika can seize the throne the minute he's dead. Speaking of Eirika, there's a Heaven Seal for her in the other chest. Promoting her with it will give her some extra movement; should save a turn when you take the throne and end the chapter.

Human Armory features a unique gameplay mechanic similar to a gimmick introduced in TowerDefense, but executed much better.
